GRNE Solar seeks robust das provider for american bottoms wastewater treatment facility
Located in Sauget, Illinois, the American Bottoms wastewater treatment plant has undergone several changes and improvements since its opening in 1986. One of the most recent changes has been including a distributed generation solar PV installation to provide power generation for the plant’s needs. As EPC for the installation project, GRNE Solar needed to plan out the project with the plant’s location challenges and dual-power-feed setup in mind. To this effect, the solar PV installation was comprised of two 900 kW systems that needed to be tied into the existing plant system.
